Great to see a variety of users out on the Lake2lake trail. We are stoked that The Te Anau Enduro held on Saturday 10 March 2017 will be making use of the trail. It's such an awesome event.... go check it out!!
"The extreme rainfall over the past two weekends has really tested our trail, especially the newly opened sections between Queen Reach and Balloon Loop. Overall the trail has performed very well. We are pleased to report that apart from the slip on 'Barrows Narrows' all is safe and negotiable. Repairs are progressing well and we are hopeful that the section from Queens Reach through to SH95 will be reopened by the end of next week, 29 Sept. Given the nature of the country we are traversing there will always be repairs and maintenance following extreme weather conditions. We thank all who have assisted us in the progression of our wonderful community asset." ... See MoreSee Less
